Established thirty years ago, we - our residents, families and staff - have created a trusted care home in the Maldon district, in which we live and care for one another like family. Squeaks house is in a rural location close to the village of Southminster. We provide 24 hour support for elderly people and those living with Dementia. Our aim is to promote independence whilst respecting individuals rights of privacy and dignity.

Home to the friendliest, highly skilled carers from the local area, trained and qualified in dementia care. We are able to support a wide range of physical needs with the use of specialist equipment.
We offer daily activities, host musical events, provide tasty nutritious meals and have weekly GP visits. We provide in-house activities which are personalised around the interests of the individual. Outside activities and outings are available to all residents.
Two cosy lounges, offer a relaxing environment in which to watch television, listen to music or simply sit quietly. There is a spacious dining room, a sensory area and fabulous garden for residents and families to be together. The majority of our bedrooms feature en-suite facilities. A lift provides easy access to the upper floors.
Our attractive dining room offers a tempting and varied menu of home cooked food, freshly prepared from local produce where possible. Individual tastes are taken into consideration and all special diets can be catered for.

The property has well maintained gardens with impressive views of the countryside. It is a short trip to other local villages and towns such as Burnham-on- crouch and Maldon.
